The training strategies allow the students to master the relevant aspects of the subject worked directly through reasoning, analysis and synthesis.
(3x) Understanding of what has been done
To verify the understanding of the topic addressed in class, children are asked to write three different summaries:
One made from 10 to 15 words.
The second one elaborated from 30 to 50 words.
The third and last drawn from 75 to 100 words.
The different amounts of words in the writings require particular attention to detail. Establishing pragmatic, semantic and literary relationships. For this it is necessary to compare / contrast with colleagues. In turn, the teacher's attention and guidance is necessary to guide the process of acquiring knowledge.
Text representation
Students read a narrative text independently. Each of the students highlights or writes some sentences that they consider important, interesting, remarkable of the text read.
After highlighting the most significant terms, work teams are formed where students share the highlighted words of the text.
Subsequently, each student chooses the words that caught the attention of their classmates and then build a sentence in which they account for the comprehension of the text.
Finally, the students discuss whether the words, phrases and sentences that they chose to summarize represent the text read.
Write the concepts.
Students must write an explanation of what they understand from a selected reading for the topic addressed.
Each of the explanations is read, the children discuss the veracity of the information provided by the classmates.
The teacher will provide the theoretical concept to be later compared with the concepts of the students.
The information that is considered true is hung on a wall of concepts, there are located those successful concepts of the subject to be treated.
